Position: Air Conditioning Service Technician The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and residential air conditioning systems. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in accordance with Australian Standards, industry best practices, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Install split-system, multi-head and ducted air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties in accordance with drawings and manufacturer specifications.
Plan and lay out installation work, including refrigerant pipework, condensate drainage, ductwork, electrical interconnecting wiring, and equipment positioning to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant installations.
Conduct testing, commissioning, and performance verification of newly installed air conditioning and refrigeration systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.




Diagnose faults and troubleshoot refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including refrigeration circuits, compressors, evaporators, condensers, fan motors, thermostats, sensors, electrical components, and control systems.
Carry out preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, and condition assessments of commercial and residential refrigeration and air conditioning equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Complete service reports, maintenance records, and installation documentation and ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, industry regulations, and workplace health and safety requirements.
Provide skilled technical advice to customers on the operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and energy-efficient use of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in a safe and serviceable condition.
Skills & Experience
Relevant industry qualification or a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Current Driver's Licence.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Job Details:
Full-time permanent position
Salary: $80,000 per year + superannuation
38 hours per week
Work Location: In person
Work Authorisation: Permission to work in Australia unrestricted.
