Job Description
IMPERIAL RENOVATION PTY LTD Imperial Renovation Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and documentation to support civil engineering and construction projects. Working closely with engineers, project managers and construction teams, you will contribute to the successful planning, design, and delivery of projects.

Task & responsibilities
Interpret engineering designs, architectural drawings, survey data, and technical specifications to prepare accurate construction documentation. Coordinate with engineers, architects, surveyors, project managers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure project documentation meets design and regulatory requirements. Produce engineering drawings for drainage systems, stormwater infrastructure, roadworks, retaining walls, foundations, earthworks, water supply, sewerage services, and site development works. Review and revise drawings to incorporate design changes, client feedback, engineering modifications, and site variations throughout each stage of the project. Conduct site visits to verify dimensions, existing conditions, and construction progress,



ensuring drawings accurately reflect site requirements. Assist engineers and project managers with design development, engineering layouts, and technical documentation to support project planning and construction. Prepare quantity take-offs and estimate material requirements to assist with project budgeting, procurement, and resource planning. Review engineering calculations, survey information, and technical reports to support the accuracy and quality of project documentation. Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, and project records while ensuring effective document control and version management.
Support construction teams by responding to technical drafting queries, issuing updated drawings, and preparing accurate as-built documentation upon project completion. Ensure all engineering drawings and documentation comply with Australian Standards, local authority requirements, building regulations, workplace health and safety legislation, and company quality procedures. Participate in quality assurance activities by checking the completeness, consistency, and accuracy of all engineering documentation before issue.



Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects on schedule while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction. Carry out additional drafting and technical support responsibilities as required to contribute to the successful delivery of Imperial Renovation Pty Ltd's construction, renovation, and civil engineering projects.
Qualification & experience
Relevant qualification with 1 year of experience is required.
