About the Role
We are looking for Disability Support Workers to provide a variety of supports to people with a disability. You will aid with all aspects of daily living including personal care, domestic care, social and community participation, and transportation.
Our clients are looking for an engaging, fun and bubbly Support Workers, who are outstanding at providing encouragement, whilst working towards their NDIS Goals.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong documentation and reporting abilities
A positive, interactive attitude that encourages and uplifts clients
Initiative to advocate for clients and ensure quality care
Flexibility and adaptability in challenging situations
A knack for organising and actioning daily tasks
Reliability and the ability to work unsupervised
Prior experience in the care sector
Knowledge of supporting individuals with behaviours of concern
Personal or professional experience in disability support
Medication support experience (or willingness to train)
Mental health first aid experience is ideal but not required
Experience supporting clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including non-verbal clients.
Experience using, or willingness to learn, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) methods (e.g. communication apps, visual supports, gestures, and Proloquo2Go).
Background in childcare or a relevant qualification, such as a Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care.

NDIS VIC Worker Screening.
CPR & First Aid Certificates.
Working With Children's Check.
