Amy Hurd Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our community focused service. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated early childhood professional to step into a well loved centre with strong values, a supportive team, and a commitment to high quality education and care.
About the Role
The Centre Director and Nominated Supervisor will oversee daily operations, lead and mentor educators, ensure compliance with NQF/NQS requirements, and build strong relationships with families, staff, and the wider community. You will champion a positive workplace culture and uphold the centre's vision for secure, nurturing, and meaningful learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support, and inspire a team of educators
Ensure regulatory compliance, documentation, and reporting
Maintain high standards of safety, supervision,
and wellbeing
Build strong partnerships with families and community stakeholders
Manage enrolments, staffing, rosters, and centre administration
Drive continuous improvement and uphold quality practices
About You
Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education
Previous leadership experience in an early learning setting
Strong understanding of NQF, NQS, and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills
A collaborative, warm, and professional leadership style
