Kinbase is a novel mental health clinic for kids and families in Naarm/Melbourne.
We exist to empower kids and families to experience meaningful change by bringing clinicians together, because families need a team.
Kinbase is seeking Consultant Paediatricians to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Naarm/Melbourne.
This flexible Associate Clinician chance is suited to a paediatrician who values thoughtful, connected care for children, adolescents and families.
Depending on your preferred age group and experience, you will provide specialist assessment, treatment and ongoing medical care for children and adolescents experiencing developmental, behavioural, neurodevelopmental and related mental health concerns including eating disorders.
You will work closely with families and the broader Kinbase team to support continuity of care, shared formulation and coordinated treatment planning.
Your work may include:
Ongoing developmental and behavioural paediatric care
Assessment and management of neurodevelopmental presentations ADHD assessment, treatment and medication management
Medical coordination and support of our multidisciplinary eating disorders program
Multidisciplinary formulation and treatment planning
Contributing to Kinbase's multidisciplinary assessment pathways
You are a specialist paediatrician with a collaborative, family-centred approach and an interest in the biopsychosocial development of infants, children and adolescents.
You will bring:
Specialist registration in paediatrics with AHPRA
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Paediatrics and Child Health, or an equivalent recognised qualification
Demonstrated experience providing specialist paediatric assessment, diagnosis, and management across a range of childhood health conditions
Strong clinical judgement, decision-making skills, and ability to develop evidence-based care plans
Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with children, families, colleagues, and community stakeholders
Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary mental health, developmental, eating disorder and allied health teams.
