What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee and supervise cleaning operations across the MFC plant, ensuring cleaning and hygiene tasks are completed safely,efficientlyand in line with QA requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating daily cleaning activities,schedulesand records to meet QA and operational requirements.
Liaising with Production, QC/QA, inventory,procurementand cleaning team members to ensure cleaning priorities are achieved.
Ensuring cleaning products, chemicals and equipment are available, safely used,maintainedand appropriately stored.
Supervising,trainingand supporting cleaning team members in SOPs, safetyrequirementsand effective cleaning practices.
Overseeing machinery,equipmentand packing linecleaningso work is completed correctly, safely and on time.




Identifyingand communicating faulty equipment, packing lineissuesor material requirements to theappropriate team.
Maintaining chemical stock levels, coordinating orderingrequirementsand managing chemical drum recycling processes.
Completing cleaning records daily and supportingaccuratepaperwork,timesand compliance records.
Ensuring end-of-shift site security requirements are completed, including lights, doors, alarms and gates as required.
Contributing tocontinuous improvement and completing other duties in consultation with management.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a safety-focused,organisedand practical supervisor who can lead a small team, work collaboratively across thesiteandmaintainhigh cleaning and hygiene standards. You will bring:
Previousexperience in a cleaning, hygiene,productionor food manufacturing workplace, ideally in a supervisory role.
Strong safety mindset and understanding of WHS requirements in a food factory workplace.
Forkliftlicenceand current car driverlicence.
Ability to complete paperwork,cleaningrecordsand times accurately and neatly.
Positive communicationskills with the confidence to liaise with staff, managers,suppliersand contractors.
Strong time management,planningandorganisationskills with the ability to respond to changing priorities.
Ability to work safely, use initiative and problem-solve without close supervision.
Reasonable computer skills and the ability to use internal systems for ordering,recordsand time management.
A practical understanding of cleaning chemicals, Safety Data Sheets, equipmentcareand safe cleaning methods.
A positive, hands-on approach with a solid work ethic and willingness to support the broader operation.
