The Clinical Nurse Consultant (Clinical Informatics Specialist) is accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of clinical practice and the provision of human and material resources within The Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS). The position will be responsible for providing leadership and support change management activities with clinical and business staff for the ieMR Digital Services at THHS.

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
Salary range: $******* to $******* p.f. (Nurse Grade 7)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
*****% employer contribution to superannuation
Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements
Mandatory:
Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position.
Highly Desirable:
Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
Highly Desirable:
Experience in implementing large scale clinical change initiatives within a hospital environment and possessing certificationa a Health Informatician (Certificed Health Informatician Australasia - CHIA would be well regarded.
Drivers Licence:
This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
Travel:
Please note, from time-to-time this position will be required to travel to, and work at, other facilities located within the Rural Hospitals Service Group.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
