Diesel Fitters
to join our Mackay workshop team. These are
residential positions
, ideally suited to candidates living in the Mackay region.

About the Role
As a Diesel Fitter, you'll play a key role in maintaining and rebuilding heavy mobile equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting inspections,



servicing, and repairs on diesel engines and components
Completing full machinery rebuilds, with a focus on CAT and Komatsu equipment
Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs
Working collaboratively with the workshop team to deliver quality outcomes
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
A trade qualification in Diesel Fitting (or equivalent)
Experience working on CAT and Komatsu equipment
Proven experience with bare chassis rebuilds and heavy mobile equipment (HME) maintenance
Robust diagnostic and fault-finding skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
A genuine commitment to safety, quality, and workmanship
