About the Role
As a
Senior Credit Risk Manager
, you will be responsible for independently assessing and managing credit risk across a portfolio of corporate and institutional clients. You will play a key role in reviewing complex lending proposals, providing credit recommendations to senior management and ensuring alignment with the Bank's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the assessment and review of
Corporate and Institutional lending proposals
, including new transactions and existing exposures.
Conduct comprehensive credit analysis, including financial statement review, cash flow assessment,



industry analysis and risk evaluation.
Provide independent credit recommendations and present proposals to the
Credit Committee and senior management
.
Manage credit risk exposure in line with the Bank's credit policies, risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
Review and challenge credit submissions from relationship teams to ensure robust risk assessment.
Monitor portfolio quality, identify emerging risks and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with Head Office credit standards, policies and governance frameworks.
Work collaboratively with Relationship Managers, Treasury, Operations and other internal stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement of credit processes, policies and risk management practices.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Extensive experience in
Corporate Credit Risk / Institutional Credit Risk
within a banking environment.
Minimum
5 years' experience
in corporate or institutional lending credit assessment.
Strong understanding of corporate lending products, financial analysis and credit risk principles.
Proven ability to assess complex lending transactions and provide sound risk recommendations.
Experience presenting credit proposals to senior stakeholders or credit committees.
Bachelor's degree or above in
Finance, Commerce, Economics or related discipline
.
Strong analytical, judgement and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a multicultural and international banking environment.
Mandarin speaking and writing capability is essential.
