The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll join a tight-knit team of mobile plant tradespeople working across both workshop and (once trained) field / UG environments.
Duties will include:
Workshop maintenance - servicing, repairs, component change-outs
Preventative and scheduled maintenance
Fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic & electrical systems
Field service work (once competent) - breakdowns and on-site support
Equipment:
UG mining trucks, loaders (boggers), drills, ITs, charge-up equipment, spray rigs
The Roster
7 days on / 7 days off / 7 nights on / 7 days off
Wednesday to Tuesday rotation
12-hour shifts
DIDO / Relocation Options
This role is offered on a DIDO basis, making it ideal for candidates based in regional Victoria or the northern suburbs of Melbourne.




DIDO each swing (no FIFO required)
Temporary accommodation provided (up to 12 weeks) for relocation
Support to transition into the Bendigo region long-term
Residential / DIDO candidates must live within 50 minutes of site

You'll bring:
Trade qualification (Diesel Mechanic or Light Vehicle Mechanic)
Experience working on mobile plant, agricultural equipment or heavy vehicles
Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrics and mechanical systems
A genuine interest in moving into the mining industry
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
