A newly created opportunity has arisen with Hallite Seals (Australia) for a CNC Machinist (permanent) based in Eagle Farm, Brisbane.
Hallite Seals Australia is a Michelin Group Company, Hallite manufacture and supply high-performance seals and sealing solutions for the world's fluid power industry. In addition to this we have a worldwide network of service partners that support our global presence and ensure the full range of Hallite products are readily accessible.
As part of a dynamic team, you will be keen, hardworking, and reliable with a positive attitude towards workplace health and safety as well as learning. In the role you will be responsible for the general operations of the CNC machine, including machine set-up, operation, modifying existing programs and creating new programs as required.
We are looking for the following skills and attributes:
If you have the following, we want to hear from you;
1-3 years of experience in an engineering workplace or similar role, we are willing to train the right candidate
Experience with engineering drawings
Experience with CNC lathe operations
Experience in 2D programming using Siemens Controller




High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines
Initiative and sound problem-solving skills
Experience with Siemens control systems.
Experience with hydraulic seals
Trade qualification in Engineering (min Cert III) or currently training
Must be reliable, hardworking and motivated, with a solid focus on productivity, meeting deadlines and maintaining high output levels. Punctuality, attendance and a positive work ethic are highly valued in this role.
