About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in the Emergency Department at Deniliquin Hospital. This frontline role is integral in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families, in a high paced environment. You will be joining our high performing multidisciplinary team who are welcoming, passionate and dedicated to providing essential health care services to our regional community.
Position Description
You Will Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient-centred care
Recognise and respond to clinical changes
Engage patients/carers and support secure discharge/transfer
Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice
Maintain professional accountability
About You
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
Completion of a Graduate Nurse Program or equivalent
Desirable, 12 months experience in a Emergency department.
Knowledge and skills to develop and document a plan of care that reflects the identified needs of the patient, with co ordinating safe effective and efficient discharge planning or transfer.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and respond flexibly to changing clinical priorities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong commitment to person-centred care, cultural safety, and ongoing professional development.
