The opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available for a Training Development Specialist to join a leading healthcare organisation in a newly created role within the Payroll Compliance Improvement team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced L D or Training professional to take ownership of the development and capability agenda across a complex Payroll function.
Working as part of a team of five and reporting to the Head of Payroll Compliance Process Improvement, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering engaging learning solutions, supporting new starters, embedding process improvements and helping build capability across the broader Payroll team.
This is a highly autonomous role where you'll have the opportunity to shape the function, build relationships across a diverse workforce and make a genuine impact on how training and development is delivered.

time and attendance and payroll systems Partner with Payroll leaders to identify and deliver individual development opportunities Review and update operating procedures and training documentation Support process mapping and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Ensure new processes and regulatory changes are effectively embedded across the team Maintain learning content through the LMS and SharePoint Facilitate workshops, one-on-one coaching and other learning sessions Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve delivery Build solid relationships with Payroll, People Culture, Finance, IT and other key stakeholders What you'll bring We're looking for an experienced L D or Training professional who enjoys creating practical, engaging learning experiences and working with a diverse range of people.
You'll ideally bring: Experience in learning, training, capability development or a similar role Strong experience designing and delivering training programs Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills Experience creating training content, guides, procedures and learning resources Experience working with an LMS and digital learning tools Strong process improvement and documentation skills The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders A practical, approachable and adaptable communication style Payroll experience is highly regarded, particularly experience working across payroll operations, compliance, legislation or enterprise payroll systems.
Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, ticketing systems, Monday.com, rostering or time and attendance systems will also be advantageous.
A tertiary qualification in HR, Education, Business or a related field is desirable, as is a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, however these are not essential for the right candidate.
