Category Lead – Solar Location: Gold Coast (Head Office) Reporting to: National Purchasing Manager About the Role Newly created position due to business growth Lead the Solar category across a national electrical wholesale business Develop and implement category strategies to improve profitability, supply continuity and supplier performance Drive sourcing initiatives and supplier relationships to improve cost, quality, delivery and reliability Play a key role in shaping category management processes and best practices across the business Key Responsibilities Develop and execute Solar category strategies aligned with business objectives Improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while ensuring supply continuity Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and opportunities Research market trends, competitor activity and industry developments Negotiate supplier agreements, contracts and pricing structures Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance Source,
