FAS Intake and Triage Supervisor (Prioritised)

Ongoing, full-time role earning $100,894 - $114,476 per year, plus super.
This is a prioritised role for Aboriginal people, who will be given priority consideration as per the special measures provision of the Equal Opportunity Act ****.
What you will do
As intake and triage supervisor, you will lead a specialist team supporting Aboriginal victims of crime.
You will help deliver a simple, fair and trauma-informed service for people seeking financial assistance.
You will:
lead a
specialist
intake and triage team supporting Aboriginal victims of violent crime
manage
daily
operations, workloads, reports and service targets across the specialist pathway
provide
clear
advice and support for complex and urgent applications
build
strong
partnerships with Aboriginal organisations and community groups
improve
culturally safe
and victim-centred service delivery across the scheme.
About you
You should have a relevant tertiary qualification or experience in business administration, operations or community services. You will also need experience leading an intake and triage team in a complex service setting.
You should also have:
strong




knowledge of Aboriginal communities, culture and lived experiences
proven
experience supporting victims of family violence, sexual assault and violent crime
sound
understanding of trauma-informed practice and barriers within the justice system
confident
skills using case management and telephony systems, such as Salesforce.
