As we continue to grow, we're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Workplace Technician to help deliver an exceptional technology experience for our employees. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll be responsible for ensuring our people have secure, reliable and well-supported workplace technology, while helping build the foundations of a world-class internal IT environment.
The Role
This is a permanent full-time role responsible for supporting Sharon AI's end-user technology environment across our Sydney office and remote workforce. You'll provide first and second level technical support, manage the lifecycle of workplace devices, maintain IT assets, and ensure employees have the tools they need to be productive from day one.
Working closely with Operations, Security, vendors and employees across the business, you'll play a key role in maintaining secure, reliable workplace technology while continuously improving the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first and second level support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, peripherals and collaboration tools
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues both remotely and onsite
Provision, configure, deploy and decommission workplace technology for new starters and existing employees
Manage IT assets, equipment lifecycle, repairs, replacements and inventory records




Support identity and access management processes, including user provisioning and de-provisioning
Ensure workplace devices remain compliant with security policies through patching, encryption and endpoint protection
Manage incidents and service requests through the service management platform while meeting agreed SLAs
Support Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, video conferencing and workplace productivity tools
Coordinate workplace technology changes, office moves and vendor engagement where required
Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles and user guides while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, Desktop Support or Workplace Technology role
Experience supporting users within a corporate or enterprise environment
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and modern workplace collaboration tools
Experience supporting mobile devices and endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Intune or other MDM platforms
Solid understanding of hardware troubleshooting across laptops, desktops and peripherals
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS and DHCP
Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach




Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users
Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering a high level of service.
Microsoft, Apple or endpoint management certifications
CompTIA A+, Network+ or similar certifications
Experience with endpoint security, device compliance and identity management
Experience working within cloud, technology or high-growth organisations
Exposure to modern workplace management platforms including Microsoft Intune, Autopilot or Jamf.
