As we continue to grow, we are looking for experienced and passionate coaches to play a key role in developing competitive players through high-performance coaching, tournament preparation, and long-term athlete development.

You are an experienced performance coach who is passionate about helping competitive players reach their full potential. You enjoy designing structured development pathways, preparing athletes for tournaments, and creating an environment where players are challenged, supported, and motivated to perform at their best.
What you'll be doing:
Deliver high-performance coaching programs, private lessons, and fitness sessions for competitive players.
Prepare players for tournaments while supporting their long-term development and performance goals.
Help players improve their match performance, UTR, national rankings, and progression to higher-level competition.
Develop individual player plans, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to players and parents.
Lead sessions while supporting and mentoring assistant coaches on court.
Maintain accurate player records and session updates using Intennis and other internal systems.
Support operations,
including tournament events, equipment management, and player reporting.
Build solid relationships with players and families to encourage engagement and long-term retention.
Promote Voyager's performance programs, tournaments, camps, and additional coaching opportunities.
Uphold Voyager's coaching standards, customer service, and commitment to excellence.
What are we looking for?
Minimum of 5 years' full-time performance coaching experience (35+ hours per week), with the majority of coaching focused on competitive and performance players
Proven experience developing tournament players and supporting long-term athlete development
Strong understanding of tournament preparation, player development pathways, and performance planning
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with players, parents, and coaching teams
Leadership experience guiding and supporting assistant coaches during sessions
Highly organised with a professional, proactive, and player-focused approach
Passion for developing high-performance athletes and delivering coaching excellence

Working With Children Check
Police Check
Tennis Australia Coach Membership
First Aid Certification
Location:
Voyager Tennis operates across Australia. Successful applicants will be placed at a location that best aligns with their experience, availability, and current venue requirements.
Salary:
$75k – $90k + superannuation per annum - this will depend on the experience of the suitable candidate
