Role overview
We are looking for an Associate Technical Consultant (ATC) who wants to apply their knowledge and skillset in enterprise web and mobile solutions based on the Daon technology stack.
This role will be located in Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra.
You will have hands‐on involvement in TrustX implementation, and in educating, guiding and advising our clients in best‐practice deployment of Daon technologies. The successful candidate must be:
Willing and able to act under the direction of a Technical Project Manager and/or Principal Technical Consultant
Experienced in the development of scalable business solutions for web‐based users on mobile and desktop
Have the capability to clearly articulate appropriate methodologies for deployment of Daon technology and SDK's,
to an audience grounded in the development community for Identity Assurance and Authentication
Able to help Daon's customers to deploy and integrate TrustX technology by providing robust and scalable solutions, built to handle the performance demands of millions of end users.
What you will do
Development (coding and unit testing) of product artefacts as required by Daon's customers, using a variety of backend technologies – including Java, Python, HTML5, REST API Services, JSON
Mapping of customer requirements onto the design and deployment of successful TrustX implementations
Documentation of solution collateral
Coordination and collaboration with other team members, to ensure that project deliverables are reliable, reflect best practices in IDV, and meet or exceed client requirements
Clear and timely communication with internal and external customer stakeholders
Assistance with complex deployment, UAT and go‐live scenarios
Other duties will be assigned as the role evolves and the business develops.
What you have
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
Minimum 1‐3 years' relevant developer experience, ideally in a customer‐facing environment
Capable of understanding and articulating the business context in which the Daon technology stack is relevant and important to our customers
Strong working knowledge in enterprise web development
Proficient in Python, Java and Javascript/Typescript and 3rd‐party frameworks (eg. Spring Boot, React, Vue, Angular, Dagger)
Experience working with version control systems such as GIT, SVN
Strong API web service design and development knowledge
Nice to Have
Working experience with a software product vendor in the Financial Services and Telecommunications industries
Knowledge and understandings in information security, biometrics, and Public Key Infrastructure
BPMN and Business Process Modelling skills
Demonstrable experience and knowledge of web UI design
Working knowledge of cloud‐based platforms such as AWS
