About the role We are looking for an experienced Glazier to join our team.
You will measure, prepare, fit, install, replace and adjust flat glass and double- and triple-glazed units in windows and doors for residential and commercial projects.
Your responsibilities ·Measure and mark glass according to plans, glazing schedules and job requirements.
·Cut, trim and finish flat glass to the required dimensions and specifications.
·Inspect glass and glazed units for damage, defects and dimensional discrepancies.
·Confirm the correct glass type, size, orientation and installation location.
·Install flat glass and double- and triple-glazed units in window and door frames.
·Remove and replace broken, damaged, defective or incorrectly installed glass.
·Prepare frames and fit gaskets, packers, glazing beads, sealants and related materials.
·Position, align, secure, seal and adjust glass to achieve the required fit and finish.
·Inspect completed glazing and rectify installation defects.
·Safely handle, load, transport, unload and store glass and glazing materials.




·Complete site photographs and maintain job, service and defect records.
·Clean and maintain glazing tools, equipment, company vehicles and work areas.
What we are looking for ·At least three years of relevant full-time experience as a Glazier.
·Experience installing and replacing glass in windows and doors.
·Ability to read plans, glazing schedules and measurements accurately.
·Knowledge of glazing methods, materials, tools and equipment.
·Experience with double- or triple-glazed units and uPVC systems is highly regarded.
·Current White Card and Australian driver's licence.
·Good physical fitness and ability to safely handle glazing materials.
·Strong attention to detail, reliability and a professional approach.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Appropriate Australian work rights.
Safety and physical requirements The role involves handling glass, lifting and positioning glazing materials, standing, bending, kneeling and working in diverse construction-site and weather conditions.
You must follow company and site safety procedures, use required PPE and use team lifting or mechanical aids when necessary.
