The Prospect We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Track Protection Officer (TPO) to join our team on a fixed-term 8/6 roster assignment.
Reporting to the Safeworking Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing safeworking protection for track workers and coordinating safe rail operations across Yurra operations.




Requirements Current and valid Rio Tinto Track Protection Officer qualifications Available to commence / complete medical asap Strong commitment to safety and teamwork Full unrestricted HR Licence and operator tickets are highly desirable but not essential Key Responsibilities Set up and manage appropriate track protection authorities accross both passive and active crossings Communicate effectively with the Train Controller and Site Supervisor Monitor and enforce safeworking rules in line with operational requirements Implement resolution strategies when required Act decisively and uphold safeworking standards at all times Maintain current safeworking knowledge in accordance with operating rules If you're reliable, safety-driven, and ready to be part of a great team, we want to hear from you!
