DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced
Senior Project Engineer
to join our growing Rail Systems team based in our
Sydney Head Office
.
Supporting a strong pipeline of upcoming rail infrastructure projects across Australia, you'll play a key leadership role in delivering complex engineering packages from planning through to construction and project completion. Working closely with Project Managers, clients and multidisciplinary delivery teams, you'll provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and drive engineering excellence across a diverse portfolio of rail projects.

Senior Project Engineer

Lead engineering planning, coordination and delivery across complex rail infrastructure projects
Provide technical leadership while managing programme, cost, quality and engineering performance
Mentor and develop Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Graduate Engineers to build capability across the team
Coordinate procurement activities, subcontractors and engineering interfaces to achieve successful project outcomes
Manage engineering risks, resolve technical issues and drive constructability throughout project delivery
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while promoting engineering excellence and continuous improvement
Profile description
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership
Minimum 5 years' experience delivering major infrastructure or rail construction projects in a senior engineering role
Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams and manage complex technical interfaces
Strong understanding of construction methodologies,
commercial delivery and engineering management systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence project outcomes
A collaborative leader passionate about mentoring others and delivering high-quality engineering solutions
