Daifuku Australia Pty Ltd is currently seeking experienced Electrical Engineering Technicians to join our operations team.
Duties include: Monitor the operation and performance of the Airport Baggage Handling System (BHS) and Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) to ensure efficient system performance.
Inspect, test, maintain and repair electrical and control systems associated with the BHS and related equipment.
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, equipment failures and baggage jams to minimise operational downtime.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance schedules and company procedures.
Assist with the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, control systems and system upgrades.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and technical documentation.
Complete maintenance records, inspection reports, work orders and other technical documentation accurately.
Coordinate maintenance activities with supervisors, contractors and operational personnel to ensure efficient system operation.




Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements, company procedures and relevant industry standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.
Skills Experience Required: Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in the maintenance, testing or commissioning of electrical or automated systems.
Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment, control systems or automated material handling systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
