The Role An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Commercial Analyst to join the Australian team of a well-established multinational FMCG organisation.
This is a temp-to-perm position, offering an immediate start and the chance to work within a high-performing commercial finance team.
Based in Sydney's CBD with flexible hybrid working arrangements, this role will see you partnering closely with Sales and Commercial teams, delivering meaningful financial insights that influence key business decisions and drive commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to provide financial analysis and strategic decision support Prepare rolling forecasts, budgets and commercial performance reporting Analyse customer profitability, sales trends and margin performance Evaluate promotional activity and provide recommendations to maximise return on investment Support pricing initiatives,



including financial modelling and scenario analysis Deliver insights into product and customer performance to identify growth opportunities Build and enhance reporting tools and dashboards to improve decision-making Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Present financial findings and recommendations to key internal stakeholders About You CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) Previous experience in a Commercial Finance, FP A or Commercial Analyst position FMCG, Retail or Consumer Products industry experience Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business Advanced Excel skills, with experience using ERP systems such as SAP highly regarded A proactive, analytical mindset with excellent communication skills Available Immediately This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a globally recognised organisation where you'll gain exposure to a quick-paced commercial environment, work alongside experienced leaders and have the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
