27th July, **** We are currently seeking experienced Industrial Painter Blasters to join a 6-week project at Port Waratah Coal Services in Newcastle, commencing 3 August.
This is an excellent chance to work on a major industrial maintenance project, offering competitive rates, consistent hours, and penalty rates.
What's on Offer Project Start: 3rd August **** Duration: 6-week project Location: Port Waratah Coal Services, Kooragang Island, Newcastle Pay Rate: $***** per hour + penalties Roster: Monday to Saturday, 6:00am – 4:00pm (10-hour days)



Key Responsibilities Abrasive blasting and surface preparation Industrial spray painting and application of protective coatings Preparing steel surfaces to specification Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Adhering to site procedures and WHS requirements To Be Successful You Will Have Trade qualification in Industrial Painting and Blasting (or equivalent industry experience) Previous experience in industrial painting and abrasive blasting Strong knowledge of surface preparation and protective coating systems A commitment to safety and quality workmanship The ability to work effectively in a team environment Highly Regarded Tickets Working at Heights Confined Space Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Gas Atmospheric Testing If you're an experienced Industrial Painter Blaster looking for your next project, we'd love to hear from you.
