Estimator / Detailer (Truss Walls) Cardup WA, Full Time, Construction Vacancy Listing Dates 17/07/2026 to 14/08/2026 Please Quote Reference Number ***** Skilled Truss Walls Estimator / Detailer wanted Full time opportunity Join the Colli Timber and Hardware team Cardoso Pty Ltd t/a Colli Timber and Hardware are currently seeking an experienced Estimator / Detailer (Truss Walls) to join their team in Cardup.
This is a full time role working Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm.
Duties and Responsibilities Client Interaction Coordination: Liaise with customers to understand project needs and provide tailored solutions Consult with clients, vendors, and team members to formulate estimates, address project concerns, and coordinate schedules Interpret building plans, regulations, and codes to ensure compliance Design Estimation: Design truss and wall frames using computers software, based on provided plans Prepare and revise drawings, specifications, and layout plan as needed Analyse blueprints and documentation to estimate time, costs, materials, and labour, helping in vendor selection and budgeting Monitor and track project cots, ensuring estimates remaining accurate as the project professes Documentation Reporting:



Prepare cost reports and other documentation at regular intervals Set up systems for tracking expenses and provide updates to supervisors on project status Coordinate deliveries and ensure manufacturers have accurate details and specifications Quality Control Compliance: Inspect work and materials for adherence to specification and industry standards Perform routine data collection and computations to support project accuracy and planning Administrative Support: Handle general clerical duties, including maintaining project records and correspondence Applicants must have: Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Building, Construction, Construction Management, Estimating, or a related field (Engineering qualifications may also be considered) Minimum of 2 years' full time experience in a similar role, focussing on truss and wall frame design, cost estimations, and project coordination Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and regulations Proficiency in design of software for trusses and wall frames Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members Experience preparing detailed cost estimates and tracking project expenses A salary of $79,500 - $90,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
