13/7/26 4055833 HR Coordinator Transactional Sydney Permanent / Full Time Job Description About the job: We're currently partnering with a well-established organisation within the engineering and infrastructure sector to appoint a HR Generalist/Coordinator into their collaborative People Culture team.
This role offers genuine long-term development opportunities, with the business keen to invest in someone looking to grow their career into a future HR Advisor/Consultant and eventually HRBP pathway.
This is a genuinely broad role with exposure across the full employee lifecycle, supporting both operational HR activities and wider people initiatives across a national workforce.
The position would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to continue building their generalist HR capability within a stable and growing business.
Key Responsibilities Supporting employees and managers with day-to-day HR queries and processes Assisting with end-to-end recruitment coordination including advertising, interview scheduling, reference checks and offer preparation Preparing employment contracts, promotions,



resignations and other employee documentation Coordinating onboarding activities and supporting the new starter experience Managing probation review processes and stakeholder follow-up Supporting employee engagement initiatives and benefits programs Coordinating visa applications with external immigration providers Assisting with HR reporting, workforce data and diversity reporting Conducting exit interviews and identifying key themes and trends Supporting policy reviews and ensuring alignment with current legislation Assisting with annual performance review processes, training coordination and wider HR projects Maintaining HR systems, records and internal documentation About You Previous experience within a HR Coordinator or HR Generalist position Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline Exposure to Australian employment legislation and HR best practice Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities High attention to detail and strong administrative capability Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive and solutions-focused mindset Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting What's on Offer Broad exposure across all areas of HR Supportive and collaborative team culture Opportunity to work within a well-established national business Career development and long-term growth opportunities Fast-paced, people-focused environment with variety in the role If you're looking to step into a true generalist role where you can continue developing across multiple areas of HR, we'd love to hear from you.
