The Role Norton Rose Fulbright's Technology practice group is recognised as one of the leading teams in Australia.
You will have direct exposure to a diverse group of clients including government, data centre operators, financial institutions and large corporates.
You will work on an array of high-profile and market-leading matters including: Technology sourcing and transformation projects.
Leading edge commercial contracting and advisory work with data centres operators and AI services providers.
Government procurement (State and Federal).
Privacy, data protection and data governance advisory.
Cyber security, including incident response and regulatory compliance.
Artificial intelligence and intellectual property rights commercialisation, protection and enforcement Specialist corporate support in mergers and acquisitions Requirements The successful candidate will be engaging, highly motivated and looking for a collaborative, caring and high performing environment in which they can thrive.
As an experienced Associate you will be able to demonstrate: 5+ years PQE with exposure to technology sourcing transactions, privacy and intellectual property matters.
Exposure to AI,
SOCI and other regulatory frameworks such as APRA Prudential Standards will be considered favourably.
Experience in contract review, drafting and negotiations in complex technology and commercial matters.
Experience in data governance, AI governance and privacy advisory work will be considered favourably.
