We are looking for a full time Chef to join our team and assist the kitchen operations under the Head Chef.
Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 per annum Location: Kingswood, NSW **** Role: Full time Main responsibilities include but not limited to: ·Oversee and prepare meals under the supervision of the Head Chef, ensuring that all dishes meet the restaurant's standards.
·Collaborate with the Head Chef and management on menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
·Develop creative recipes or refine existing ones in consultation with the Head Chef to ensure quality, authenticity and consistency.
·Monitor and manage inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment.
·Assist with supervising kitchen staff and coordinating schedules to maintain a smooth workflow.
·Monitor food costs and implement approved cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
·Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation and portion sizes.
·Monitor kitchen operations and report any significant issues to the Head Chef promptly.
·Ensure compliance with all relevant health,



safety and food-handling regulations.
To succeed in the role, you must meet below criteria's ·Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a fast-paced restaurant ·Minimum qualification of Certificate IV in commercial cookery or diploma in hospitality management ·Minimum 1 year of Australian work experience in a similar restaurant style cooking is mandatory ·Be available to work on both weekdays and weekends ·Possess understanding of food safety and HACCP Skills and Attributes: Culinary skills Solid time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Focus on food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Expertise in HACCP and maintaining a sanitary kitchen.
Strong skills in collaborating with staff and management.
Be available to work on both weekdays and weekends Australian Citizens/PR candidates are encouraged to apply.
