Our client, a rapidly growing ASX-listed gold company, is seeking the services of a Senior Open Pit Mine Geologist to oversee all aspects of mine geology, grade control, and geological reconciliation, while mentoring and developing a high-performing geology team.
The Opportunity Provide geological support to the open pit mining operation; Manage and optimise grade control activities to support production targets; Complete ore block design, ore spotting and dig planning activities; Conduct geological mapping, interpretation and data validation; Support mine-to-mill reconciliation processes and identify improvement opportunities; Work closely with Mining, Planning and Processing teams to optimise ore recovery; Maintain geological models and support short-term production planning; Assist with QA/QC processes and continuous improvement initiatives; Mentor geology staff.
Experience and Qualifications: BSc (Geology) or equivalent; Minimum 5 years' experience in surface gold operations; Robust understanding of geological modelling software; WA Australian Driver's License C Class or equivalent.
Experience Minimum 5 years' experience in gold processing operations.
