Job Description Senior Electrical Engineer – Design Sign-Off (VicRoads Standards) $90/hr + | 4-Month Contract (Potential Extension) Melbourne – Major Infrastructure Project Engineering People are partnering with a leading infrastructure delivery team on the Northeast Link Project , seeking a Licensed Senior Electrical Engineer to provide formal review and sign-off on roadside electrical design packages.
This is a key role supporting the delivery of tolling and roadside electrical systems, ensuring all designs meet VicRoads (DoT) and Australian Standards ahead of upcoming project submissions.
Mandatory ✔ Registered Engineer (Engineers Australia or equivalent recognised body) ✔ Eligible to provide formal design sign-off (BLA recognised) The Role You will be responsible for: Reviewing and signing off electrical design packages and single line diagrams Ensuring compliance with VicRoads (DoT)



standards and Australian Standards Providing technical oversight across roadside electrical and tolling systems Verifying design integrity, safety and network integration Supporting internal teams to meet strict submission deadlines Project Scope Roadside electrical systems for infrastructure Integration of detection zones, signal paths and electrical distribution Requirements ✔ Solid experience with VicRoads / DoT standards (essential) ✔ Proven experience reviewing and signing off electrical design packages ✔ Experience with infrastructure, ITS, or roadside electrical systems ✔ Ability to operate as a design reviewer / sign-off authority ✔ Strong understanding of Australian Standards (AS/NZS) What's On Offer $90+ per hour 4-month contract with strong extension potential Work on one of Victoria's largest infrastructure projects High-impact, senior-level role
