As part of our commitment to modernising our people practices, we are seeking an experienced Learning and Development professional to design and lead impactful learning programs that build capability, support organisational transformation and contribute to our ongoing success.
Key responsibilities In this role, you will: Lead the development / implementation of training needs analysis to inform the development of annual trade union training and staff learning and development (L D) programs.
Review and ensure the implementation of the annual Trade Union Training and staff L D programs to support and deliver on the capability requirements of the Association.
Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to establish and deliver a 'best of class' onboarding experience, processes, and employee induction program.
Facilitate the development and delivery of high-quality training materials and learning resources.
Ensure that your team's work is aligned to the Association's changing learning requirements and competency needs through effective cross team collaboration and coordination.
Build and cultivate collaborative relationships and foster communication across the organisation to ensure training needs are met.




Conduct ongoing evaluation and reporting of learning programs to assess their effectiveness and ensure they are achieving the Association's strategic goals and learning-based outcomes.
Provide advice and direction on trade union training and staff L D to support the organisation, line managers and employees with development solutions in line with strategic goals, organisational capacity and performance needs.
Remain current with the latest research and best practices related to adult learning and professional development.
About You You will have tertiary qualifications in Adult Education or demonstrated significant experience.
Management and Leadership qualifications or/and experience.
You will be an expert in training needs analysis, learning program development and delivering and managing end-to-end training projects.
Travel, though occasional, will be a requirement of this role.
