The successful candidate will support primary care services, contribute to patient education, and assist GPs with clinical procedures while maintaining high standards of nursing care.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing consultations including wound care, chronic disease management, immunisations and health assessments.
Assist GPs with clinical procedures, minor surgical dressings and diagnostic tests.
Perform routine observations, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
Deliver evidence-based patient education on medication management, lifestyle modification and preventive care.
Coordinate recall and reminder systems for chronic disease reviews, immunisation schedules and screening programs.
Support practice quality improvement initiatives and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Maintain infection control standards, occupational health and safety practices and clinical governance requirements.
Skills and Qualifications Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.




Previous experience in general practice or primary care is highly desirable.
Immunisation certification and experience with chronic disease management programs preferred.
Solid clinical assessment and procedural skills with attention to documentation detail.
Excellent communication skills and a patient-centred approach to care.
Basic life support (CPR) certification and a willingness to maintain ongoing professional development.
Experience with medical software, recall systems and mixed billing environments is an advantage.
