Head of Department – Medicine (Hospital Setting) Location: Alice Springs, NT Employment Type: Full-Time (Fixed Term may be considered) Salary: $596,075 – $639,082 + allowances Start Date: Flexible About the Role An exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced physician to lead a dynamic Medicine department in a major regional referral hospital.
Working closely with executive medical leadership, you will oversee service delivery, workforce planning, and the development of a sustainable, high-performing medical team.
The role combines 0.5 FTE leadership with a flexible clinical component.
You will play a key role in enhancing staff wellbeing, driving quality care, and ensuring culturally appropriate services for a diverse population.
