At Wisely Group, we are seeking a motivated Recruitment Officer to support high-volume recruitment across major mining operations.
This position is to provide additional recruitment support throughout the busy shutdown period, making this ideal for recruiters looking for a fast-paced temporary opportunity within the mining and maintenance sector.
About the Role Working closely with operations, mobilisation, and site teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring skilled personnel are recruited, onboarded, and mobilised safely and efficiently for upcoming shutdown and maintenance works.
This is a short-term temporary contract position focused specifically on supporting peak shutdown recruitment activity.
You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy working in a structured, high-volume environment and can manage competing priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities Support recruitment across CHPP maintenance, shutdowns, workshop operations, and fixed plant maintenance projects Source, screen,



and engage candidates for upcoming shutdown and maintenance works Conduct interviews and reference checks Prepare and manage recruitment advertisements Build and maintain active talent pools Coordinate candidate documentation and compliance requirements Maintain accurate records within recruitment systems Work closely with operations and mobilisation teams to meet project deadlines and workforce demands What We're Looking For Previous exposure to recruitment, labour hire, mobilisation, or workforce coordination Experience within mining, maintenance, shutdowns, trades, or industrial sectors is highly regarded Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider team Why Join Wisely Group?
