Core Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, adjustments, reclassifications) Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules Reconcile balance sheet accounts Ensure compliance with GAAP / IFRS and company accounting policies Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies Coordinate with AP, AR, payroll,



and other departments Assist with process improvements and automation initiatives Support banking related matters Perform bank reconciliation Supporting Group reporting Required Knowledge Skills Technical Skills Robust knowledge of financial accounting principles (GAAP/AASB) General ledger accounting and reconciliation expertise Financial reporting and analysis ERP systems (e.g., Prontp) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations) Soft Skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Time management and ability to meet deadlines Clear communication with finance and non-finance teams Integrity and confidentiality with financial data Commitment and ownership Education Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required) 2–5 years of general accounting or GL experience (typical range) CPA / ACCA / CMA (preferred, depending on organization) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy of journal entries and reconciliations Timeliness of month-end close Number of audit findings or adjustments Compliance with accounting standards Quality and clarity of financial reports
