Nurse Practitioner – Medical Centre, Queensland Prospero Teaching is partnering with a well-established Medical Centre in Queensland seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join their team.
This practice is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse community and offers a broad range of general medical services.
The Role As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
Your responsibilities will include assessing, diagnosing, and managing patient health, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and minor injuries.
Key Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and manage a range of health conditions.
Diagnose and treat chronic and acute conditions, including minor injuries.
Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
Provide health education and advice to patients and families.
Support coordinated care for complex cases.




Perform health screenings, vaccinations, and preventative checks.
Essential Criteria Current AHPRA registration as a Nurse and advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification.
Solid clinical experience in general practice or primary healthcare.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Desirable Criteria Experience in managing chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular disease).
Expertise in women's health, mental health, or paediatrics.
Experience with minor procedures (e.g., suturing, wound care).
