Secondary English Teacher Fixed Term (Term 3) Location: South-West Sydney Position: Secondary English Teacher Contract: Fixed-term – Term 3 Start Date: Term 3 About the role Prospero Teaching is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Secondary English Teacher for a fixed-term teaching opportunity during Term 3 at one of our non-denominational independent schools in South-West Sydney.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging English lessons across secondary year levels, support student learning and wellbeing, and contribute positively to the wider school environment.

Secondary English Teacher – Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across secondary year levels Plan and implement lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum and school policies Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment Assess, monitor, and provide feedback to support student progress Foster student engagement, literacy development, and a love of learning Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community What we're looking for Current NESA registration Relevant Secondary Teaching qualification with English teaching methods Experience teaching Secondary English Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff Commitment to student wellbeing and positive learning outcomes.
