Join a global listed market leader Strategic and commercial Head of Finance position About Our Client Our client is a recently acquired business within a global listed market leader is seeking an accomplished Head of Finance to lead its local finance function.
This business is entering an exciting phase of integration and growth, creating a rare opportunity for a commercially minded finance leader to play a central role in shaping performance and driving strategic outcomes.
The key deliverable for the position is business partnering, FP A, commercial insights, while also overseeing core accounting activities supported by a small local team and the broader group finance function.
Job Description Reporting to the Group CFO, as Head of Finance, you will lead financial planning and analysis, deliver insightful commercial support to the Executive Leadership Team, and ensure robust financial governance.
You will also oversee a small, capable team and act as the primary interface for external auditors and group finance.
This role suits an agile, technically strong finance leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys translating data into meaningful insights, and can balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
With key accounting processes centralised at group level, your focus will be on performance, planning, commercial business partnering, and people leadership.Other key responsibilities will include the following: Lead financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting and modelling to drive revenue, margin and growth outcomes.




Provide commercial insight and advice to senior leaders, identifying risks, opportunities and forward‐looking performance trends.
Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting and ensure strong financial governance, compliance and internal controls.
Oversee cash flow, investment, risk management and core financial accounting processes to support sound operational decision making.
Lead and develop a high performing finance team, fostering a collaborative, people focused culture with clear capability development.
The Successful Applicant A successful Head of Finance should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Skilled qualifications such as CPA or CA.
Extensive experience working in a similar position in a complex and dynamic business setting Robust leadership and team management skills.
Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in financial software and tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
