We are looking for an experienced
Parts Manager
to join our
Welshpool
team and help deliver the exceptional service United is known for. In this role you will lead and manage the Parts and Stores function within the branch, ensuring the effective supply of parts to internal departments and external customers.
You will oversee parts sales, purchasing, inventory management and warehouse operations while working closely with the Branch, Sales and Service Managers to drive operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and the growth of the parts business. Key Responsibilities
Receive and action parts enquiries from internal and external customers, providing accurate interpretation, pricing and quotations
Maintain accurate inventory levels across the central store, service vans and site containers, conducting regular stocktakes
Manage purchasing activities, monitor re-order reports and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing
Oversee the receiving, checking and allocation of incoming parts deliveries
Lead,



supervise and support the parts and stores team to ensure high productivity and customer service standards
Monitor parts sales performance and identify opportunities to grow parts revenue
Review systems and processes to continuously improve efficiency and departmental performance
Maintain a clean, organised, safe and secure parts department
About You
Minimum 5 years' experience in parts interpretation, ideally within mobile equipment, construction, mining or a related industry
Proven experience in parts or inventory management
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Experience using inventory or ERP systems (e.g. Great Plains) is advantageous
Strong leadership and team management capability
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organisational and inventory management skills
Commercial awareness with the ability to support and drive sales performance
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
