About The Role
We're supporting a global technology organisation with a senior Portfolio Manager requirement across a complex technology and infrastructure delivery environment.
This role sits above individual project delivery and will provide portfolio-level oversight across multiple concurrent programs. You'll work closely with senior leaders, Program Managers, Project Managers, technical teams and client stakeholders to ensure the portfolio is well governed, commercially controlled, and delivering to plan.
The environment includes large-scale technology infrastructure, data centre, network, cloud and managed services delivery. This role will suit someone who has led complex client-facing delivery portfolios and enjoys creating structure, visibility and momentum across large delivery environments.
What You'll Do
Lead, coach and support Program Managers and Project Managers
Establish strong governance rhythms across delivery health, risks, issues, dependencies, financials and reporting
Own portfolio dashboards, executive updates, performance insights and stakeholder reporting
Monitor portfolio-level risks, escalations, resourcing, delivery blockers and commercial impacts
Oversee financial performance across forecasting, budgets, utilisation, backlog, revenue and margin
Partner with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership to maintain alignment and delivery confidence
Drive consistency and improvement across project/program delivery practices




Help uplift delivery capability, accountability and operating discipline across the portfolio
Skills You'll Ideally Have
10+ years' experience across project, program or portfolio management
5+ years leading complex IT, infrastructure, data centre, cloud, managed services or professional services programs
Experience leading Program Managers, Project Managers or senior delivery teams
Strong portfolio governance and delivery assurance experience
Strong commercial/financial management capability across budgets, forecasting, utilisation, backlog, revenue and margin
Excellent senior stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
Confidence presenting to executive-level internal and client stakeholders
Experience creating structure, visibility and calm across complex delivery environments
Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Agile, SAFe or ITIL would be highly regarded
