to join the kitchen team at the award-recognised Cooroy Hotel, located in the heart of the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
Working alongside our experienced and accomplished Head Chef, you'll become part of a passionate, supportive team delivering quality food across our busy bistro and popular pizzeria.

About the Role
As Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our kitchen, supporting the Head Chef while maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency and presentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the daily management of a busy kitchen
Leading and motivating the team during service
Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
Assisting with menu development, stock control and kitchen organisation
Supporting the Head Chef to deliver exceptional food and efficient service
About You
You will have:
Trade Qualification (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher)
Experience supervising or leading in a busy commercial kitchen
Strong leadership and communication skills
A positive, hands-on attitude and passion for quality food
Food Safety Supervisor accreditation (desirable)
Full working rights in Australia
