The Opportunity
We are seeking an
AI & Automation Engineer
to play a critical role in designing, building and deploying AI-enabled solutions that deliver real, measurable business outcomes.
Reporting to the
Head of Technology
, this is a senior individual contributor role working closely with business leaders to translate advisory and operational processes into scalable, production‐grade AI and automation solutions - primarily across the Microsoft ecosystem.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‐on delivery, technical autonomy and shaping how AI is applied responsibly in a professional services environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Designing and deploying
AI agents and intelligent workflows
that reduce manual effort and improve advice delivery
Building
Power Platform solutions
(Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Copilot Studio) to support internal and client‐facing processes
Developing
data pipelines, semantic models and reporting
to underpin analytics and AI outputs
Integrating AI solutions with core business systems via secure APIs
Ensuring all solutions meet
governance, security, and privacy requirements
, including compliance with the Australian Privacy Act
Partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver solutions with clear business impact
Supporting uplift in AI capability across the firm through documentation and knowledge sharing
What We're Looking For
You'll bring a strong mix of technical capability, commercial mindset and the ability to work confidently with non‐technical stakeholders.
Essential experience includes:
Hands‐on experience designing and deploying
production AI agents
and intelligent automation
Strong capability across the
Microsoft ecosystem
, including Power Platform and Azure AI services
Experience with
prompt engineering, RAG, and AI integration
into business systems
Solid grounding in
data modelling, reporting, and analytics
Understanding of
governance, privacy, and security
in a regulated or qualified services environment
Ability to manage end‐to‐end delivery and communicate complex concepts clearly
Microsoft Fabric
or modern data platforms
Experience in p
rofessional services, financial services, or advisory
environments
