Senior Analyst, Operational Risk . 12 Month Contract (Day Rate)
A leading Australian bank is looking for a Senior Risk Analyst to join their Operational Risk team on a 12-month day rate contract.
About the role
You'll help measure and report on the organisation's operational risks, working with loss data, risk models, and stakeholder reporting to support better risk decision-making across the business.
What you'll be doing
Analysing historical loss data and emerging risk trends
Managing and reconciling internal risk data with finance systems
Building reports and dashboards to communicate risk insights to leadership
Supporting risk models used for scenario analysis and stress testing
Working with stakeholders across risk, finance, and the wider business
What we're looking for
3+ years' experience in data analysis or quantitative modelling
Experience in financial services
Solid Excel/SQL/Power BI/Tableau (or similar) skills
Great communication skills and comfortable working with senior stakeholders
Operational risk experience is preferred, but candidates with a
credit risk
background are also encouraged to apply
