LUMA Gelato is expanding, and we are looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our Mooloolaba production team.
This is a hands-on role preparing our gelato, sorbet, sauces and other products in-house. You will follow established recipes, operate production equipment and maintain excellent standards of quality, cleanliness and food safety.
Previous experience in a
commercial kitchen, café, restaurant, bakery or food-productive setting is required
. Gelato-making experience is highly regarded but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities
Prepare gelato, sorbet, sauces and other products
Accurately weigh and measure ingredients
Follow recipes and production schedules
Operate and clean production equipment
Maintain consistent product quality
Label, store and rotate ingredients correctly
Follow food-safety, hygiene and allergen procedures




Monitor stock and keep the production area organised

Relevant kitchen, hospitality or food-productive experience
Hard-working, reliable and punctual
Strong attention to detail
High standards of cleanliness and organisation
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility
Availability during weekends and busy holiday periods when required
