We're partnering with a values-driven organisation that provides essential healthcare and community services across Australia.
They're looking for an FP A Analyst to join a high-performing finance team on a 6 month temp assingment, starting as soon as possible.
Reporting to the FP A Manager, key responsibilities include: Supporting the FP A Manager with budgeting, forecasting and high-volume operational reporting.
Building financial models to better understand key business drivers and support strategic decision-making.
Analysing unit costs, labour metrics and operational KPIs to identify the drivers behind financial performance and cost variances.
Working closely with operational leaders to translate complex financial information into transparent, practical insights that support better business decisions.
Developing reporting that tells the story behind the numbers, highlighting trends, opportunities and operational risks.
Reviewing existing reporting and forecasting processes to identify automation opportunities, streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
Contributing to the ongoing improvement of dashboards, reporting packs and finance processes.
About You You'll be commercially minded,
naturally curious and enjoy partnering with stakeholders across the business.
You're confident analysing large datasets, explaining financial concepts to non-finance audiences and finding smarter ways of working.
Ideally you'll bring: CA/CPA qualification (or working towards).
Experience in FP A, commercial finance or business partnering.
Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
Advanced Excel skills, with experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools highly regarded.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.
A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and automation.
