About the Position: The Cook plays a key role in the kitchen team at Romano's Pizzeria Greenfield Mandurah, preparing and cooking a range of menu items with a strong focus on pizzas and Italian-inspired dishes.
This position is essential to maintaining food quality, consistency and timely service during busy periods, supporting the overall success of the restaurant by ensuring every order meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a full range of menu items including gourmet and traditional pizzas, pasta dishes, sides and desserts according to recipes and quality standards Prepare pizza dough, sauces and toppings,



ensuring correct portioning, consistency and presentation Operate commercial pizza ovens and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Monitor food quality, temperature and presentation throughout preparation and service Assist with mise en place, stock rotation, inventory control and ordering of ingredients as required Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and food safety at all times Complete kitchen checklists, closing duties and equipment cleaning Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction Support menu consistency and contribute to efficient kitchen operations during peak periods Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or Diploma in Hospitality Management Minimum 1.5 years relevant experience as a Cook Robust technical skills in pizza and Italian-style food preparation, commercial kitchen equipment operation, and food safety/hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, good time management, and effective teamwork and communication skills How to Apply: To apply, applicants must submit their resume with a valid email address through this online portal.
