About the role
We are seeking an experienced
HSE Advisor
to join our Queensland team on a
6-month fixed-term contract
, supporting two projects across the
Lake Macdonald and Bundaberg regions
.
This is a
project-focused, site-based role
suited to an HSE professional who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with project teams and making a visible impact on safety performance.
The role is available for an
ASAP start
, with
potential to extend beyond the initial 6-month contract
based on project requirements.
You can be based in Brisbane and
DIDO to site
, or
FIFO
may be considered for the right candidate.
Potential to extend
Projects based in Lake Macdonald and Bundaberg, QLD
DIDO from Brisbane or FIFO options available
6:00am starts
ASAP commencement
Key responsibilities
Work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and site teams to maintain a strong safety culture
Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and safety observations
Support SWMS, JHAs and project-specific HSE documentation
Monitor compliance with Keller systems, procedures and legislative requirements
Support incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions
Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions and HSE training
Identify hazards and work with project teams to implement effective controls
Provide practical HSE advice and coaching to site personnel
Contribute to HSE reporting, continuous improvement and project performance
About you
You will be a practical and proactive HSE professional who is comfortable working in a busy project environment and being visible on site.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience as an HSE Advisor or similar within construction, civil, infrastructure or a related industry
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and construction requirements
Experience working on active project sites
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A practical, solutions-focused approach to safety
The ability to build strong relationships with site and project teams
Flexibility to work 6:00am starts and 10-hour days
Ability to travel between the two project locations
