About Aligned Leisure Aligned Leisure is a 100% owned subsidiary of the Richmond Football Club, established as a vehicle to manage the operations of Richmond's health, fitness and leisure business activities.
Supported by the people and business systems of the Richmond Football Club, Aligned Leisure currently operates 32 leisure centres, community stadiums, pools, gyms, theatres and other facilities throughout Victoria and New South Wales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: High calibre of swim teaching Establish and maintain strong relationships with all students and their parents/guardians.
Create a fun, welcoming and secure environment.
Deliver high quality swimming lessons, using the Swim and Survive program, focusing on stroke development and water safety.
Implement set lesson plans.
Work on set level criteria each week, recording student's growth and reporting students ready for assessment to the Swim School Captain as soon as possible.
Daily swim school operation Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene at all times.
Proactively work with the Swim School Captain to minimise any disruptions that may cause classes to be interrupted.
Act responsibly towards preserving the integrity of centre assets such as swim platforms and Learn to Swim equipment.
Treat families and children equally and respect the diversity of backgrounds.
Welcome and educate new children and parents/guardians so they feel welcome and comfortable in the pool environment.
Adhere, at all times, to the facilities OH S procedures particularly surrounding the swim platforms and swim teaching equipment.
Outstanding service delivery to all customers and stakeholders Aligned Leisure will be renowned for delivering outstanding service and providing memorable experiences for our customers.
This role will be relentless in identifying these opportunities and will always ask "How would I want a member of my family treated in this situation?"
All Aligned Leisure staff will understand and deliver on our customer charter and service promise.
Swim Teachers must be available to work a mixture of early morning, daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
They may from time to time be required to undertake other tasks as directed by the Manager Swim School or Swim School Captain.
Essential Qualifications and Experience: Relevant industry experience Swimming and Water Safety Teacher Qualification Teacher of Infants and Toddler Qualification (Desirable) The position will be subject to relevant pre-employment checks such as a Police Check and must maintain a current working with children check The successful applicant must hold or be willing to attain first aid and CPR qualifications Personal Attributes: High level communication and consultation skills Committed to participating in ongoing training and workshops A passion to work with people Customer focused A commitment to professionalism and accountability Unquestionable ethics, integrity, values and behaviours
