ICS Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team.
Duties include: Design, configure and commission electrical protection and control systems for high-voltage substations and power distribution networks.
Develop, review and implement protection relay settings for SEL, Siemens, GE Multilin, ABB, MiCOM and Schneider protection relays.
Prepare and interpret engineering documentation including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), protection logic diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules and technical specifications.
Plan, coordinate and supervise the testing and commissioning of high-voltage switchgear, transformers, protection systems and associated electrical equipment.
Perform testing and commissioning of HV switchgear, transformers, HV cables, circuit breakers and earthing systems using industry-standard testing equipment.
Analyse test results, investigate equipment faults and provide engineering recommendations to improve system reliability,



safety and performance.
Configure and utilise protection software including Siemens DIGSI, ABB PCM600, SEL AcSELerator and GE EnerVista.
Prepare commissioning reports, technical documentation and engineering records in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical support to project teams, contractors and clients during installation, commissioning and fault-finding activities.
Ensure all engineering activities comply with Australian Standards, electrical regulations, workplace health and safety requirements and project specifications.
Skills Experience Required At least 3 years of relevant experience Solid analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
