Located in Frankston VIC ****, Roccella Restaurant is preparing to open a new venue and is currently seeking a Chef to join the team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing a high-quality kitchen operation and delivering authentic Italian cuisine from the restaurant's opening.
Key Responsibilities: • Preparing, cooking, and presenting a wide range of high-quality Italian dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
• Assisting with menu planning and developing new dishes while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Monitoring food preparation and cooking processes to ensure efficiency during service.
• Ensuring all food is prepared and stored in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimising food waste through effective stock rotation.
• Supervising and supporting kitchen staff to maintain a productive and collaborative working environment.




• Inspecting the quality of ingredients and finished dishes to ensure high culinary standards are consistently achieved.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and secure kitchen environment while complying with workplace health and safety requirements.
About you: • At least one year of relevant experience as a Chef.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the kitchen team.
• Passion for Italian cuisine and delivering high-quality dining experiences.
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time Salary: $76,000 - $86,000 per annum.
